Craig Taelman and Bill McCarthy, the partners of Portage Woods, have both been involved in residential real estate since 1980 as homebuilders, developers and realtors.  

Craig is a two time president of the Homebuilders Associations and is a National Director for Home Builders.  He owns Circle Lumber in South Bend and Signature Homes - providing custom homes for those with a discerning eye.  

Bill brings the experience of working for large homebuilders/developers and being involved in the start up of many successful local subdivisions.  Presently among other things, Bill calls RE/MAX 100 "home" where he has been the top selling RE/MAX agent in this area of 2008 and 2009, wining state and local awards.

Both Bill and Craig are graduates of Indiana University, Bloomington.
